Complete Mod Guide Running This Game Charging Photo

⚡ Charging Photo turns your phone into a picture frame for as long as it is plugged in.

Plug in, and your own photos fill the screen with the time and the battery level. Unplug, and they are gone. You set it up once and then never touch it again.

This is a photo frame, not a charging animation. Instead of a five second lightning bolt, you get your own pictures for the whole four hours your phone is on the charger.

✅ It actually appears

Most apps like this only work if you already had them open, because Android stops background apps from opening screens on their own. That is why so many of them do nothing until you unplug and plug back in. Charging Photo asks for the one permission that lifts that restriction, so the frame comes up by itself every time, even while your phone is locked.

🖼 Five frame styles

Minimal puts the photo first, with a small clock and battery kept out of the way.
Bedside is a large clock you can read from the other side of the room.
Mounted shows the whole picture in a black mount, with nothing cropped off.
Detail adds the temperature, voltage and charging power your phone reports.
Night is a black screen with a dim clock, for a bedside table at three in the morning.

🌙 Kind to your room and your screen

The frame holds full brightness while you are still looking, then fades to a level that will not light up a dark room. If you plug in late at night it starts dim rather than flashing bright at you first. The clock drifts a few pixels every minute, so it can never etch itself into an OLED panel.

🔒 Built to keep working

Your photos are copied into the app, so tidying your gallery months later will never leave the frame blank. Shuffle shows every photo once before any of them repeats, rather than circling the same three. And you choose which chargers switch it on, so plugging into a laptop to move files does not turn your phone into a photo frame.

🔋 Honest charging information

Every number comes from your phone. Time until full accounts for the way charging slows down above 80 percent, so it stops promising twenty minutes and then sitting at 99 for half an hour. When your phone does not report something, the app leaves the line out instead of inventing it. There are no fake "fast charge" badges here.

📊 A quiet record of your charging

The app keeps a note of every charge: how far it got, how long it took, how warm it ran, and how long it stayed at 100 percent after it finished. That last one is genuinely worth knowing, and nothing else on your phone tells you.

🚫 What is not in it

No subscription. No account. No analytics. Nothing is sent anywhere and your photos never leave your phone. The app does not even ask for access to your gallery, because you pick photos through Android's own picker and only the ones you choose are copied in.

🔑 About the permissions

Display over other apps. This is what lets the charging screen appear on its own. It is not used to draw anything over your other apps, and the app has no floating window of any kind.
Notifications. Only so you can see the quiet notification while charging. Everything still works if you say no.

Under 10 MB, and it works completely offline.
